Use a clean pastor's-mic feed with no music for the best accuracy.
No booth app is connected for this site. On the booth computer:
- Download for Windows
- Right-click the download and choose Extract All, then double-click TheWayBoothAgent.exe.
- The first time, Windows says it “protected your PC”, because the app isn't signed yet. Click More info → Run anyway. This is needed once per PC.
- Choose the site, enter the staff PIN and click Save and start. If the system check shows Microphone access, turn on Let desktop apps access your microphone in Windows Settings.
- Windows hides new tray icons: click ^ by the clock and drag the The Way icon onto the taskbar so it stays visible.
- Download for Mac
- Open the download and drag The Way Booth Agent into Applications.
- Open it from Applications. The first time, macOS says it can't verify the app: click Done, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway. This is needed once per Mac.
- Choose the site, enter the staff PIN and click Save and start. When macOS asks about the microphone, click Allow.
In the setup window, make sure Server is . The app then appears in the menu bar. Come back here to choose its audio input.
